Plagiarism Policy

SiCL upholds a rigorous stance against plagiarism, recognizing it as a serious breach of academic integrity and unethical publishing behavior. Plagiarism, in any form, is strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated.

Authors must ensure that all material quoted verbatim is enclosed within quotation marks and is appropriately cited. Any manuscript submitted to SiCL will be subjected to a thorough similarity check. If the manuscript is found to have a similarity index exceeding 19%, it will either be rejected outright or considered for conditional acceptance based on the Editorial Board's discretion and in alignment with our publication guidelines.

SiCL is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic honesty and ensuring that all published work is original and properly attributed. This policy applies to all submissions within the fields of corpus linguistics, linguistics, data-driven language learning, lexicography, forensic linguistics, translation and interpreting, and writing development studies.
